Céline Labie

Céline Labie is gecertifieerd CBT-I therapeute en kinesitherapeut met specifieke interesse voor complexe musculoskeletale aandoeningen. Zij studeerde af aan de KU Leuven (manuele therapie en sportkinesitherapie - 2011) en specialiseerde zich vervolgens aan de internationaal gerenommeerde Curtin University in Perth, West-Australië. Ze heeft 10 jaar klinisch werk gecombineerd met het doceren aan de KU Leuven. Momenteel is ze doctoraatsonderzoeker (KULeuven en Pain in Motion -VUB). De studie waaraan ze mee werkt heeft als doel om de relatie tussen slapeloosheid en pijn bij personen met knie osteoatrose te bestuderen. Daarenboven zal de effectiviteit van slaaptherapie (CBT-I) nagegaan worden wanneer het geïntegreerd wordt binnen hoogwaardige therapie voor personen met knie osteoartrose.
