Karen Dumon

Karen Dumon behaalde in 2011 haar masterdiploma Kinesitherapie en Revalidatiewetenschappen aan KULeuven. Tijdens één van haar stages kreeg ze de kans om kennis te maken met het domein pelvische.  De interesse was gewekt en ze volgde de interuniversitaire opleiding met als doel het behalen van de  bijzondere bekwaamheid binnen de pelvische reëducatie. Na enkele jaren in een groepspraktijk gewerkt te hebben, startte Karen Dumon haar eigen praktijk op. Ondertussen leidt ze een pelvisch centrum dat uitsluitend gericht is op pelvische en perinatale problematiek bij vrouwen, mannen en kinderen met 3 andere bekkenbodemtherapeuten.  Met onder andere het MamaMini concept wilt ze zich richten op gezond (ont)zwangeren. Karen is lid van de beroepsvereniging BICAP en Pelvired en probeert bij elke bijscholing rond bekkenbodemrevalidatie aanwezig te zijn. Karen Dumon heeft een bijzondere interesse voor alle pijn en seksuele problematiek bij vrouwen.
