Lien Matthijs is kinesitherapeute, manueel therapeute en yogadocente uit Geraardsbergen met een passie voor het geven van groepslessen, workshops en trainings vanuit een yogatherapeutisch perspectief. Ze startte haar yogareis tijdens haar vrijwilligerswerk in Nepal en India en ziet zichzelf als een echte yoganerd. Ze werd zelf opgeleid door internationaal gekende docenten en verdiept zich nog dagelijks in de wondere wereld van yoga.

Haar expertises zijn onder meer pre- en postnatale yoga, restorative yoga, mama-baby yoga en yoga voor women’s health. Ze runt haar eigen multidisciplinaire praktijk Embodhi waar ze samenwerkt met een vroedvrouw en diëtiste. Jaarlijks begeleidt ze zo vele vrouwen niet alleen tijdens de zwangerschap en het geboorteproces maar ook in alle andere fasen van het leven.

Daarnaast schrijft ze ook nog als bewegingsexperte voor Libelle Mama en zal je haar misschien af en toe zien verschijnen als yogini in het Libelle Magazine.
