Nele Adriaenssens

Nele Adriaenssens behaalde haar doctoraat aan de VUB in 2012 getiteld ‘Lymphatic and neuromusculoskeletal adverse side effect of innovative surgical and toxic breast cancer treatments.’

Sindsdien is Nele Adriaenssens deeltijds verbonden aan de faculteit Lichamelijke Opvoeding en Kinesitherapie van de VUB als hoofddocent en is ze principal investigator van de onderzoeksgroepen Rehabilitation Research en Anatomical Research and Clinical Studies (ARCS). Haar onderzoeksprojecten en publicaties zijn geconcentreerd binnen de oncologie en lymfologie.

Binnen haar onderwijsopdracht is ze o.a. titularis van het interuniversitaire opleidingsonderdeel ‘Rehabilitation of oncologic disorders’ in de 2de master afstudeervariant Inwendige aandoeningen, voorzitter van het postgraduaat in lymfologie en oncologie aan de VUB en kernlid van de KineCoach® opleiding Oncologie.
