Nick Parys

Nick Parys is Master in de Revalidatiewetenschappen en Kinesitherapie (KU Leuven) met specialisatie Sportkinesitherapie. Hij behaalde ook een postgraduaat Manuele Therapie (UGent).

Nick deed in zijn eerste professionele jaren ervaring op bij onder andere Union St. Gilloise, de Vlaamse Atletiekliga en op de Universiade in Taiwan. Om volledig zijn passie te kunnen volgen richtte hij in 2015 samen met sportarts Pieter Geens de multidisciplinaire sportmedische praktijk SPOR (Mechelen) op. In deze setting, ondertussen uitgegroeid tot een praktijk met 18 medewerkers, behandelt en begeleidt hij dagelijks sporters en atleten van recreatief tot elite niveau. Zo is hij onder andere verantwoordelijk voor de medische omkadering van Kangoeroes Basket Mechelen.
