Thalia Kindt

Thalia Kindt is Msc. Lichamelijk Opvoeding en Bewegingswetenschappen en Msc. Revalidatiewetenschappen en Kinesitherapie (KU Leuven). Ze werkte verscheidene jaren bij GRIT Belgian Sports Clinic in Leuven waar ze ervaring opdeed bij atletenpopulaties van verschillende sporten (kayak, wielrennen, atletiek, gymnastiek,…). Sinds september 2021 startte ze haar klinische werkzaamheden in het Sportmedisch Adviescentrum van de KU Leuven. Ze combineert haar klinisch werk met het doceren van verschillende praktijkvakken binnen de opleiding kinesitherapie. Daarnaast is ze lid van de centrale paramedische werking en topsportcommissie van de Vlaamse AtletiekLiga. Sinds enkele jaren begeleid ze ook atleten van Team Belgium op stage of kampioenschappen i.o.v. het BOIC. De combinatie van de interesse in het onderste lidmaat en een hart voor uithoudingssporten, brengt ze samen in deze cursus.
